Bazeley shared that he has only previously shared his poems in Christmas cards sent annually to around 150 people. He expressed excitement about the upcoming launch, highlighting that it has taken considerable time to compile the book.
He noted that he is uncertain about the public's reaction, stating that some poems are meant purely for amusement, while others may be seen as controversial. "People could identify with the themes in my verse and I could end up having more copies printed or I could end up the subject of a fatwah. Only time will tell," he remarked.
The book launch is scheduled for October 10 at the Geedon Gallery in Fingringhoe, coinciding with an autumn art exhibition. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the gallery or directly from Bazeley via email at [email protected].
