Audience members can look forward to performances by the four artists behind Say Owt: Hannah Davies, Stu Freestone, Jarmouse, and Henry Raby. The showcase will include a slam, an energetic competition where audience judges score the poets, culminating in the crowning of a winner.

Henry Raby, the artistic director of Say Owt, expressed enthusiasm about returning to York Theatre Royal, recalling a successful earlier performance with Harry Baker earlier this year. "It's nice to return to a smaller, intimate space to give the audience our best sets," Raby stated.

Say Owt has over a decade of experience bringing emerging and established talent from the poetry and spoken word communities. The group is known for high-energy events that unite poets, musicians, and storytellers.

The Say Owt Showcase is part of the Old Paint Shop programme at York Theatre Royal. More information can be found at www.sayowt.co.uk.
