Jones began his poetry journey at the age of four and expanded his artistic pursuits to musical theater by age eight. His passion for poetry, musical theater, and singing has allowed him to travel globally, collaborating with notable artists such as The Floacist (from Floetry), Fantastic Negrito, Talib Kweli, and Saul Williams.
Recently, Jones announced his participation in America's Got Talent via Instagram, where he received support from AGT winner Brandon Leake in the comments of his announcement video.
In addition to spoken word poetry, Jones also performs gospel music. In a 2024 interview, he discussed his influence from the Black American Church, stating that it significantly shaped his artistic expression and perspective on various genres, including gospel, blues, R&B, and rock ‘n roll. He expressed pride in his background, saying, "In the Western hemisphere, there is no innovation, artistically speaking, that does not come from Black culture."
As a contemporary artist, Jones aims to address current issues in his work but has specific principles he adheres to, such as avoiding the term “phobia,” which he believes is often misused. His music seeks to challenge and clarify concepts related to Black Christian culture, reflecting his sensitivity to those topics.
