Camille de Peretti and Marie NDiaye to Speak at Alliance Française Event in Vancouver

Alliance Française Vancouver, in collaboration with the Vancouver Writers Fest, will host French authors Camille de Peretti and Marie NDiaye on October 22 at 7 p.m. The event, conducted in French, will feature discussions on their notable works, including de Peretti’s L’Inconnue du portrait and NDiaye’s Le Bon Denis.

Magali Blanc, a French lecturer at UBC, will moderate the conversations. L’Inconnue du portrait explores the intergenerational narrative inspired by a painting related to Gustav Klimt, while Le Bon Denis delves into themes of family, reflecting NDiaye’s own history.

Both authors are recognized as significant voices in contemporary French literature. Attendees can register for the event through Alliance Française Vancouver.
