According to a press release from the Lakefield Literary Festival, the book provides metaphors aimed at reshaping thought processes and encourages curiosity and intentionality in dealing with discomfort and adversity. Robson invites readers to reflect on what aspects of their lives they should cherish and what could be released.

During the event, Robson and Piggott will share insights gained from their respective experiences, including their training, writing, and community interactions regarding mental health. A question-and-answer session will follow the discussion.

This year marks the 31st anniversary of the Lakefield Literary Festival, which showcases both established and emerging Canadian authors each July. Tickets for the Inspiring Hope event are priced at $30 and can be purchased online, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting local mental health organizations.
