The novel was inspired by a conversation Warner had with Virginia Uldrick, a music teacher from Greenville County who played a key role in establishing the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities.

"The Tuesday Code" centers around a contested election that leads to the Great Gridlock, escalating into a national crisis. The plot unfolds as a campaign headquarters is bombed, the nation’s capital comes under attack, and power goes out nationwide.

In the midst of this turmoil, a diverse group of characters—including Riley, an executive; Victoria, a dedicated master teacher; and Leo, a street-smart teenager—take refuge in Bensalem Motor Works, an automotive manufacturing plant. They discover that their individual skills can help keep their community intact.

Warner shared that his discussions with Uldrick on managing a specialized faculty inspired him to write the book. He noted that Uldrick emphasized each person's responsibility for “the square feet they stand on.” Initially intending to write another nonfiction book, Warner shifted to fiction to reach a wider audience, facing the challenge of character development.

He remarked, “There’s an emotional aspect of a novel that typically is in there. Although my nonfiction works are usually stories from my career or other things, we still don’t have the emotional development.”

"The Tuesday Code" is available in print, eBook, and audiobook formats. For additional details, interested readers can visit innoventure.com/copy-of-coee-2-0.
