A key highlight was the Mid-Autumn Concert in Rabat on September 20, which drew over 200 attendees, including Chinese and foreign diplomats, Moroccan cultural officials, and local art enthusiasts.
The concert began with a bilingual recitation of the classic poem "Looking at the Moon and Longing for One Far Away," performed by Chinese and Moroccan youth. This was followed by an energetic performance from the Doo Jazz Band, featuring faculty and students from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music.
In addition to the concert in Rabat, the ensemble visited the Derb Ghallef Socio-Educational Center on September 19 and the Cultural Center of Kenitra on September 21 in Casablanca, blending traditional Chinese influences with modern jazz to create a unique musical experience.
As part of the celebrations, a Mid-Autumn-themed workshop took place in Casablanca on September 19, allowing local participants to engage with traditional Chinese culture. A "Mid-Autumn in Poetry" gathering was also held at the China Cultural Center in Rabat on September 23, uniting guests from both countries to express sentiments of togetherness through poetry and moonlit themes.
Participants at the events enjoyed mooncake tastings, providing them with an authentic experience of China's festive culinary traditions.
